Orot Etzion has been squeaking by financially on tuition
payments, government funding and private donations from
relatives of students. But now the popular demand for the
education we offer has outstripped the available funding.
For the first time in our history, we are regretfully being
forced to turn away students for lack of space. We have
embarked on a building project to enable us to continue
offering high quality Jewish education to Israel's next
generation and we hope you will partner with us to make this
possible.
What projects can I donate to?
There are a wide variety of creative and innovative projects
in Orot Etzion. Donor opportunities associated with the
building fund are listed below, but if you have a special
interest or educational project you'd like to support,
please contact us.
Boys School and Sports Facility
The plans for the Boys School call for 18 classrooms, as
well as designated rooms for a library, special ed, art, and
labs for sciences, languages and computers. The
classroom-caravans in the schoolyard will be replaced with
an indoor sports facility.
Girls School and Chativa Tze'ira
After renovation, the Zayit building will have 32 classrooms
as well as a library, special ed rooms, music room, Tanach
room, art room, educational resource center and labs for
sciences, languages and computers.
